Located at the north end of Great Barrington, CHP Great Barrington Community Health Center provides adult and pediatric primary medical care. Our team of internists, family medicine physicians, pediatricians and nurse practitioners, as well as on-site behavioral health counselors and nutritionists, welcome all patients.
CHP accept most forms of insurance, including MassHealth, and a sliding fee scale is available to eligible patients. This location also hosts CHP administration and Family Services.

Great Barrington Community Health Center | Welcome
Our team of health care Clinicians is available to patients of all ages. We provide:
- Evaluation and treatment
- Ongoing care for medical problems
- Comprehensive care for chronic conditions
- Referrals for specialty care and mental health care
- Patient and parent education
- Same day sick visits
- After-hours coverage by a local physician
- Well baby care
- Adolescent health care
- Gynecological care/family planning
- Immunizations
- Nutrition and wellness counseling
After Hours Care: We have 24-hour on-call coverage through an answering service. If your call is regarding an appointment, referral, billing or prescription refill, we ask you to call during normal operating hours.
Prescription Refills: Refills require 48 hours’ advance notice during regular office hours. Prescriptions are NOT refilled after hours, on weekends, or holidays. NARCOTICS ARE NOT PRESCRIBED WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.
Forms: We are happy to fill out physical forms, camp forms, college forms if you have had your yearly physical. Please give the office at least one week to complete and return the forms to you. Otherwise, you may bring them with you at your physical appointment.
The CHP Community Health Center also provides other important services including enrollment assistance for insurance plans, interpreter and translation services, affordable prescription programs and flexible appointment scheduling.
