Hannah Paterson, Culinary Nutritionist for The Nutrition Club Program, earned her B.S. in Culinary Nutrition at Johnson & Wales University, with a minor in clinical dietetics. Where she originally wanted to become a chef but fell in love with the science of food and nutrition. She was once a Garde Manger Cook in Nassau Bahamas and cooked dishes for several celebrities such as Shania Twain, Sean Connery and Shakira. She was born and raised in Southern Berkshire County, and a local Lee High School Graduate. She has a “live off the land” lifestyle that involves fishing, hunting, gardening, raising chickens, meal planning, cooking, canning, and even foraging. Ms. Paterson aims to inspire others to find their own healthy lifestyle that works for them. She works with local Berkshire county families that are in need of food assistance, as well as nutrition advice and culinary education. She formulates recipes that and cooks in her home kitchen, which can be watched on our CHP YouTube Channel. She also creates Instagram posts of #funfoodfacts and other nutrition topics for #thenutritionclub_of_chp page.
