Mrs. Garner, clinical nutritionist and wellness educator, has expertise in medical nutrition counseling, with an emphasis on integrative nutrition, program design, and providing practical applications for implementing dietary changes. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in legal studies from St. John’s University. She received a master’s degree in human clinical nutrition from The University of Bridgeport. Mrs. Garner has broad integrative medicine experience from working 14 years at Canyon Ranch, spending time in private practice, working in a substance abuse facility and the Nutrition Center. She currently serves as CHP's Clinical Director of Nutrition.
Dr. Jones, who has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2003, graduated from Williams College and Albany Medical College. She completed her pediatric residency at Albany Medical Center.
Kimberly Loring is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at CHP Berkshire Pediatrics in Pittsfield. She earned her master’s degree in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Northeastern University in Boston, and she holds another master’s degree in education from Cambridge College in Boston; she earned her bachelor of science in nursing at Northeastern. At CHP Loring works with pediatric primary care clinicians and behavioral health team members caring for children in need of mental health support.
Gina Nickels-Nelson is a licensed family nurse practitioner providing primary care to children and adolescents. After receiving her undergraduate nursing degree from Northern Michigan University, she earned her M.S. in nursing at the University of Rochester and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at The University of Texas at Tyler. She has specialized in pediatric emergency, asthma, and wellness care.
Dr. Susan Ray-Lamond is a pediatrician with CHP Berkshire Pediatrics. A graduate of Southern Illinois University, she completed her residency at the University of Virginia. She worked in pediatric practices in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts from 1998 to 2021, and previously in Wilmington, N.C. She owned and operated her own practice, Hampshire Pediatrics, in Easthampton from 2003-2021. Dr. Ray-Lamond works with pediatric patients of all ages, and enjoys collaborating with other specialists, including behavioral health practitioners, to provide the most comprehensive care to her patients.
Dr. Shalan has been providing comprehensive care to children in Berkshire County for more than two decades. He received his B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at the Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University general pediatrics program. He is a longstanding fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Valade has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2008 in Berkshire County. She completed her undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College, followed by a medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Baystate Medical Center.
