Dr. Ankineedu Babu Dasari is a dentist at North Adams Family Dental Center, where he sees patients of all ages. A graduate of Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences in Takkellapadu, India, he earned an MBA in health care administration from University of Findlay, in Findlay, OH. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kana, is a practicing dentist and associate dental director of CHP, overseeing dental practices in North Adams, Pittsfield and Great Barrington. He received his doctorate of dental surgery at Ovidius University of Constanta in Romania. He first practiced general dentistry in a private practice in Damascus, Syria and also in the Syrian military. On settling in Boston, he worked in both a private practice and at Boston University’s Dental Health Center. He later worked at the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center, DotHouse Health Center in Dorchester, HealthFirst Family Care Center in Fall River and, most recently, Community Health Center of Franklin County. He is fluent in Arabic, Romanian and French.
Ms. King is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She received her degree from Hudson Valley Community College and has provided dental hygiene care locally for over twenty years. Ms. King’s has extensive experience in dental assisting and is dedicated to providing outstanding dental care to each patient. Her commitment to care is exemplary.
Janine L. Risser, Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined the patient care team at CHP North Adams Family Medical & Dental. Ms. Risser practiced most recently in New Mexico, at a University of New Mexico Family Health Clinic in Albuquerque, providing comprehensive urgent, ongoing and preventive care to patients of all ages. She has also provided Primary Care in a variety of private and community-based medical practices in Washington State, Oregon, Arizona and Massachusetts.
Ms. Risser earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Rhode Island College. In 2001, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.
Donna Tew is a registered adult nurse practitioner with extensive experience providing primary health care. She earned her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York Institute of Technology, and completed her M.S. in nursing at the State University of New York at Binghamton. She has worked as a primary care Clinician in community health centers and private practices in Florida and Arizona, including work at an Arizona prison. Ms. Tew, a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S Air Force Reserves, served as a military nurse practitioner from 1998-2010, with the Air National Guard and the U.S. Air Force Reserves in Arizona.
