Dr. Jones, who has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2003, graduated from Williams College and Albany Medical College. She completed her pediatric residency at Albany Medical Center.
Gina Nickels-Nelson is a licensed family nurse practitioner providing primary care to children and adolescents. After receiving her undergraduate nursing degree from Northern Michigan University, she earned her M.S. in nursing at the University of Rochester and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at The University of Texas at Tyler. She has specialized in pediatric emergency, asthma, and wellness care.
Dr. Shalan has been providing comprehensive care to children in Berkshire County for more than two decades. He received his B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at the Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University general pediatrics program. He is a longstanding fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Pediatrician Dr. Barbara Snyder specializes in adolescent medicine. She was chief of adolescent medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey from 1990-2015. Snyder, who also holds a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University, is a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics and is chair of its executive committee on Adolescent Health, among other professional affiliations. She has worked at several academic medical centers, as well as in the U.S. Air Force in Europe. Her community work includes past board memberships for organizations focused on eating disorders, sexuality education, LGBT family advocacy, suicide prevention and teen pregnancy.
Stephanie Taylor, pediatric nurse practitioner, provides primary pediatric care to children, teens and young adults up to age 22. After receiving her B.A. from Smith College, she earned her M.S. in nursing from Yale University School of Nursing. She received clinical training at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Conn., in the Pediatric Primary Care Center and post-partum units. Ms. Taylor’s extensive experience includes rural health and community outreach.
Dr. Valade has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2008 in Berkshire County. She completed her undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College, followed by a medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Baystate Medical Center.
